by Averie, Aaron and I had some pretty heavy discussions today about this day in history. We showed her some pictures and videos and we talked about terrorism and war etc. Her innocent heart really didn’t understand “why”.
This may have been 17 years ago, but it still feels like yesterday, and I want to be sure that we do our part to make sure that it’s not forgotten by her or her generation either.
Needless to say I was pretty moved when she pulled this out of her backpack from school today.
