So that might seem like a completely random list of things, but they all have one thing in common — they are all things that were cookiefied this month!
First up were the denver bronco cookies. These were actually really fun for me to make — I was able to use some new/different techniques — I busted out the airbrush to get the stripes on the field and the starburst behind the foam finger. And I even custom mixed some nonpareils for the crowd and the borders around some of the cookies. I have to admin though, I had to google to determine what player to put on the jersey. I’m not a big football fan, sorry to Mr Manning, but at least I was still able to come up with something for a cookie!
Next up – I had a girly set of cookies to do — purses, necklaces, shoes and flowers. There are airbrushed backgrounds on some of these as well. It’s hard to see, but there’s also edible glitter! I loved how these turned out and coordinated together, and I’m a little sad I don’t have a pearl necklace that looks like those do!
These pretty bridal gowns were for a bridal shower. I forgot to take a picture before getting them off for delivery, and I’m pretty thankful for my customer who did. They turned out really pretty, and I managed to match the bridal colors for the little hearts!
If you’re from the area, you know how big of a company Rockwell Collins is. I was super excited to be able to create cookies for them with toppers to celebrate national aviation day. These were a lot of fun to make!
Hey – dentists love cookies too — just make sure you brush your teeth afterwards! These tooth and toothbrush cookies were a gift from a patient to their dentist — how sweet is that!?
Averie even managed to get to decorate some cookies this month. This time she even got to paint. The one she was working on at the time this was taken was a ninja turtle… but there’s another one that says “Amber Stinker”. She loves me, really! 🙂
