I don’t know why, but for some reason it made him look so much happier… 💕
Today was mostly uneventful. He maintained his numbers as his epi was turned down and his paralytic was also shut off as well. He’s still mostly out of it, but is starting to slowly move a little. The challenge now will be seeing if he can maintain his blood pressures when he’s awake and working to get the last tiny bit of his epi turned off.
Tomorrow Aaron flies home. It’s going to be hard being here without him, but Averie needs her daddy and some normalcy (though I know shes having fun with her grandparents). Lasairiona is still here through Friday.
We did check out of the hotel now that the pope is gone and streets are open again. We were lucky enough to get into the Ronald McDonald house in NJ. Having to drive and cross the bridge daily does suck a little, but it’s a far better place to stay financially especially! I’m still hopeful we will get into the Philadelphia one at some point.
We also managed dinner out with a friend/old coworker of Aaron’s. It was nice to escape the hospital and have a sit down meal with all of us for a change, and the company was great too.
