He was a rockstar throughout. In fact he only needed suctioned out twice the whole time we were out. Even just a few weeks ago he needed cleared out every 15-20 minutes.
Averie was a rockstar too. She was his “nurse” for the drives, diligently plugging his oxygen in every time he’d pull it off. I stayed ready to pull over just in case, but she had everything under control. I don’t know many other 7 year olds trustworthy enough to help take care of a trached baby, but she’s truly amazing. I’m absolutely confident that these two were made for eachother. 💕
