by AJ seems to be having a better day again today, though he is still struggling with his temp being high (39C, 102F). His nurse today found his favorite toy – a damp washcloth – and he was playing like crazy when I arrived. He got pretty grumpy with me when I took it away and told him it was nap time, but he didn’t fight for long.
He’s up to full feeds now, he’s peeing just fine and pooping as well. He does still have all of his tubes and lines — chest tube, RA lines and pacing wires as well as his arterial line. His vent is currently being chipped away at, he’s off the nitric but needs to work his way back to cpap mode where he’s taking all the breaths himself. But as a whole he really does seem to be feeling better.
There’s some posts working their way around about another round of tshirt orders – they’re working on figuring out pricing, they needed to get an idea on numbers first before they moved forward, but more information should be making its way around soon. Just make sure you pipe in if you think you’ll most likely order – even just as a comment here. As soon as we know more we will let you know!
